Mukesh Gajjar is born in Ahmedabad 07/11/77 Gujarat. He has completed his Diploma in Sculpture (April 2006) from Sheth C.N. College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad.Diploma in Applied Art (April 2000) from Sheth C.N. College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad.

He creates his works in very different & versatile style. He is a very talented Artist & his works are Abstract forms with Nature as the main focus.

Ahmedabad has been an important centre of textiles from ancient times. It has developed its own distinct textile identity, reflected in the weave and pattern of the fabric and in the way it is worn. Many parts of the city are known for their Gujarati folk art and crafts. Paldi area is famous for shops selling works of embroidery from Kutch and Saurashtra region. The craftsmen of Rangeela pol are famous for making bandhinis (tie and dye work), while the cobbler shops of Madhupura sell traditional mojri footwear. Beautiful idols of Ganesh and other religious icons are made in huge numbers in the Gulbai Tekra area. The shops at the Law Garden are famous for their mirror work handicraft.
